Data Collection Training
It is vital that all participating units
collect data to our standardised rules and definitions so that accurate
comparisons can be made.
- Data Collection Training is provided for
all units, with new units receiving three free places.
- It is a two-day course in central London aimed at new
units, new staff from units that already participate and existing unit staff
keen for a refresher.
We are able to offer regional courses where
critical care networks shoulder the associated costs of running the course
outside London.
Please contact us if your Network would like to explore this option further.
- The course features an introduction to the
Case Mix Programme (CMP) then delegates are taken through each section of the
dataset. They work on practical examples using real case notes in groups,
before discussing the answers together.
- Case Officers are on hand to help delegates
with the examples, answer queries and discuss any particular issues either in
the breaks or during the evening reception.
