A key theme at our Annual Meeting in 2018 was communication and knowledge sharing. We want to build on that by hearing about your experiences. We would like to use these case studies as a helpful resource to support other participating hospitals.
Our first topic was "How do you collect data at your hospital?"
To help us better understand the challenges faced by our participants, we looked for case studies which illustrate the journey the data takes from the patient's bedside to validated and locked on the NCAA database. We have termed this the "Data Supply Chain".
Three case studies were presented at the NCAA Annual Meeting on Thursday 7 November.
All case studies are now available to download. See related files (right).
We are always happy to hear from participating hospitals, particularly those whose have come up with novel ways of improving and streamlining their data collection processes. if you are interested in sharing your experiences, please contact ncaa@icnarc.org
