CTU Director
The CTU Director has overall responsibility for the CTU and works with senior members of the team on setting the strategic direction of the CTU, including developing research studies that are relevant to patients and their families, clinicians, managers and commissioners.
Head of Research
The Head of Research has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the CTU and has a key role in setting the strategic direction of the CTU through the identification, development and submission of research grants and the submission of publications.
CTU Manager
The CTU Manager is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the CTU infrastructure, facilitating new funding applications and providing ongoing support to all trial/study teams.
Senior Researcher
The Senior Researcher leads on managing the conduct, performance and delivery of our portfolio of national and international research studies. They play a key role in the writing and submission of grant applications, publications and project reports.
Statisticians
The Statistics team work closely with the Trial/Study teams and are integral to the design, delivery and analysis of the CTU’s research portfolio. The Head Statistician and other senior members of the team are key in supporting the strategic direction of the CTU and the development and submission of grant applications, publications and project reports.
Trial/Study Managers
The Trial/Study Managers have primary responsibility and lead on the day-to-day management of specific research studies. They manage the day-to-day needs of the participating hospitals and ensure that project milestones and timelines are met.
Data Managers
The Data Managers ensure that accurate high quality data are provided for our research studies. They also look at our technical systems for ways to continually improve the quality of our data, products and research processes.Research Assistants
The Research Assistants provide day-to-day support for our research studies. They assist with managing the day-to-day needs of participating hospitals and coordinating longer-term patient follow-up.
