Our National Audit Programme
Audit at ICNARC is conducted within our National Audit Programme. Audit promotes quality in health care by providing information to facilitate quality improvement. It is central to improving care for patients by supporting providers, managers and policymakers to understand how care is being organised and delivered.
Through specification, management, and analysis of accurate data and by applying robust risk prediction models, we support health care providers and managers:
- to measure their care and outcomes
- to benchmark with other providers across the UK
- to identify and address areas that could be improved
